Itinerary

(with optional first and last night in Barcelona)

RECOMMENDED ARRIVAL DAY – BARCELONA SEPT 19

We highly recommend arrival day in Barcelona to be the day prior to ship departure because ANYTHING can happen. You have a full day to tame any jetlag and then get a taste of Barcelona.

It’s easy to see why Barcelona is the most-visited city in Spain. As the capital of the country’s Catalonia region, this cityscape’s cultural mosaic pieces together a 2,000-year-old hodgepodge of sun-drenched beaches, cutting edge architecture, and a world-renowned dining and drinking scene. Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí left his modernist handprint all over the city, while medieval treasures linger in historic Gothic Quarter squares. Get lost in the whimsical gardens of Park Güell or savor a chef-led Catalan cooking class. Browse art collections dedicated to Picasso and Miro— or ride a cable car to the top of Montjuïc Hill, relishing citywide views along the way.

La Sagrada Família

On your own, in Barcelona get an up-close glimpse of La Sagrada Família, a cathedral masterwork designed by celebrated Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Marvel at its sky-piercing spires and then step inside to admire intricate mosaics, Montjuïc stone pillars and the Nativity façade. You can even climb to the tippy-top of the spires for panoramic city views.

Local Cuisine

Barcelona has mastered the art of eating. Many restaurants serve up creative nueva cocina española, while waterfront spots dish out seafood paella and multi-course lunch menus include a glass of sparkling cava wine. For a taste of Catalan cooking, try pa amb tomàquet (tomato-topped bread). Or nibble on Spanish tapas (bite-sized appetizers) around the bar like a local, with house-made vermouth in hand.

Day 1– September 20th - DEPARTURE DAY

Board our cruise ship, the gorgeous Allure of the Seas, with a special group check-in time, and enjoy exploring your home for the next week! The Allure features a spa, a fitness center, a fine art gallery, lots of activities and plenty of dining options.

Once we set sail, you can dress for dinner at your leisure. Our group will be seated in same area each night at the 6pm seating. Specialty restaurants are available for additional charge and reservations and can be made in advance. Depending on ports and departure times, sometimes early dinners in port can also be an alternative to the main dining room.

This evening, we will meet in the Jazz Club for a private hour-long orientation for the trip, prior to the club’s opening.

Every evening on this cruise offers outstanding, award-winning entertainment in multiple venues. Various performances, casinos, dancing, etc. Or you just may want to take in a moonlit night on deck fine tuning all the energies you are working with. Each night the choice is yours.

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!

DAY 2 – September 21st

THEO SESSION DAY/PALMA DE MALLORCA (8AM-4PM)

In the morning, after an early breakfast, we will depart the ship for our first THEO Session, which will be held at the Saint Salvador Hostatgeria, after we visit the Sanctuary de Sant Salvador. This old hermitage, 509m above sea level at the highest point of the Serra de Llevant near the town of Felanitx, was the senior house of Mallorca's monastic order and the last to lose its monks in 1992.

It is still a popular place of pilgrimage, flanked by two enormous landmarks - to one side a 14m stone cross, to the other a 35m column topped by a statue of Christ holding out his right hand in blessing.

The views from the terrace take in Cabrera, Cap de Formentor and several other hilltop sanctuaries dotted across the plain. From the statue of Christ, you look out towards the Castell de Santueri, a 14th century rock castle built into the cliffs on the site of a ruined Arab fortress.

Our THEO session, with channel Sheila Gillette and facilitator Marcus Gillette, will enable you to hear what THEO has to say about this remarkable area of the world, and listen to what THEO will share for your own personal journey.

Afterwards, return to Palma de Mallorca for lunch and some free time. If you’re a shopper, you may want to choose a necklace or earrings made with world-famous Mallorcan pearls, try on a pair of handmaid Menorquina sandals, or marvel at handicrafts like colorful pottery and traditional straw bags. Back on the ship for our departure at 4PM! (B, L, D)

Day 3 – September 22nd

THEO SESSION DAY/MARSEILLE (Provence) (9AM-6PM)

We dock in the morning in the French port town of Marseille. Once we breakfast, our group will board our private coach and travel into Marseille, where will will have our second THEO Session. Ask THEO your deepest questions and get sacred time with this energy that crosses worlds and transcends time to speak with you.

After immersing yourself in the THEO energies, we will lunch together, eating delicious French food (and of course, drinking wonderful French wine) before giving you free time to wander around Marseille. The coach will return us in time to board the ship and you can share your adventures with your fellow THEO travelers at dinner as we sail on to our next magnificent port.

Day 4 – September 23rd

EXCURSION DAY/La Spezia – port/Florence or Pisa (8:30AM-8:30PM)

Explore the delightful port town of La Spezia on your own or with your THEO pals, or venture further to Florence, Pisa, or the ancient coastal cities of the Cinque Terre.

Our cruise port is a gateway to two of the country's most famous cities: Pisa and Florence. Just one hour by car or train will bring you to Pisa, where you can check out the white-stone arches of the city's famous leaning tower and its sister-structure, the Pisa Cathedral.

Or spend your day in Florence, about two hours away by train: Climb to the top of the famous Duomo ("dome"), the nickname for the Italian Gothic Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral, for stunning 360-degree views of the city. Stroll through the San Lorenzo market with an espresso in hand and take in the smells of local spices and truffles as you people-watch.

Royal Carribbean offers almost 150 shore excursions throughout your trip. These must be booked early, and paid in full at time of booking. Many will sell out. Details will be provided once you are signed up, with a special cruise planner where you can choose any tours you desire.

Day 5 – September 24th

EXCURSION DAY/CIVITAVECCHIA, ITALY (7AM-8PM)

Another day to choose your own excursion, team up with others in group who have similar interests or go on your own!

Rome wasn’t built in a day and it can’t all be seen in a day; however, you can savor a memorable day in this glorious city.

Here you can live la dolce vita, recalling the glory days of Ancient Rome and its 28 centuries, while twirling forks full of pasta in a trattoria.

The train ride between Civitavecchia and Rome is approximately 80 minutes each way.

Whether it’s Vatican City’s spiritual allure, Trastevere’s backstreet charms, or the Colosseum’s embattled legacy— The Eternal City endures with endless adventures. Explore the Vatican Museums’ extraordinary collection of tapestries and classical statues. Step inside the Sistine Chapel and be awed by Michelangelo’s ceiling frescoes. Then enter St. Peter’s Basilica, one of the world’s largest churches, to stand under its enormous sky-piercing dome.

Our ship leaves at 8PM, so you have enough time to enjoy the highlights of Rome. You may also choose to stay closer in - and you will have many options to select for this day.

(B, D) Lunch only included if you stay on board

DAY 6 - September 25th

NAPLES, ITALY/THEO SESSION #3

Held in a structure that has an ancient history whose roots extend into the heart of the mountain. The Hotel San Francesco al Monte is the result of a project to rehabilitate and convert the left wing of the ancient monastery of Santa Lucia al Monte directed by the architect Luciano Raffin. The monastery’s dates from the 16th century and began with the first single cell that Friar Augustine Miglionico of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, also known as the “Barbanti” for their flowing beards, carved in the side of the hill of San Martino, in an isolated area known as the mountain. Over time, the first cell became the Church of Saint Lucia Vergine e Martire, and a more extensive and organized religious complex grew alongside it on the side of the hill.

Lunch will be that culinary gem, pizza, of course, as Napoli isn’t just known for pizza, it’s where it was invented! If you haven’t tasted Neopolitan-style pizza (or gelato), you are in for an amazing treat! Gluten-free options will be included, of course!

Time for more exploration of Naples, shopping, site-seeing before heading back to the ship. (B, L, D)

DAY 7 – AT SEA

This morning, after breakfast, we will experience our final THEO session in the Jazz Club. Take this sacred time to ask THEO anything you desire, and to immerse yourself in the powerful energies of transformation this in-person THEO work accelerates.

Then you have one final day on the sea to enjoy all the incredible amenities on the Allure of the Seas. Why not take a spa treatment, or take advantage of all the activities aboard the ship, enjoy a show, try one of the specialty restaurants, or just look out over the water at the magnificent expanse of ocean? Tonight, gather with your THEO family one last time for our final evening together! (B, L, D)

DAY 8 - HOME

This morning, we arrive back in port. You may wish to extend your stay in Barcelona or continue on to Madrid or other parts of Europe. We will happily help you with your extension arrangements upon request. (B)
