The Itinerary

DAY 1: MAR 14 – WELCOME TO PERU!

Welcome to Peru! On arrival at Lima Airport, you’ll walk out of the exit where you claim your bags and walk directly across the street and overnight at the 4 Star Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima Airport Hotel. This is about a 1 minute walk to the hotel lobby.

Enjoy a good local meal this evening at the hotel restaurant if your flight arrives early enough; tomorrow morning we will be traveling as a group to Cusco — which is at an altitude of 11,100 feet. We need to acclimate, so we recommend minimal alcohol, at least during the first 2 or 3 days, and keep drinking water. In other words, you might want to wait on the Pisco Sours!

Overnight at Wyndham Costa del Sol

Overnight in Lima.

DAY 2: MAR 15 – THE MAGNIFICENT ANDES AND THE SACRED VALLEY

After breakfast, we’ll be assisted with check-in at Lima Airport for our flight to Cusco. Our hour-long flight with its magnificent views of the Andes will give you a glimpse into the magic that will be with us every day of this tour.
Upon arrival in Cusco, we will be greeted by our team and transferred by bus to Valle Sagrado, or Sacred Valley. The locals recommend chewing coca leaves to help orient you to your new altitude. You will find these coca leaves in many places from the airport to the hotel lobbies, and they are used in many of our sacred ceremonies. You might also enjoy sipping delicious coca tea.

En route to our hotel, we’ll stop to visit the village of Chinchero, where we’ll watch a traditional weaving demonstration and wool dying. Everywhere you go in Peru, you will see some versions of these textiles in the form of sweaters, ponchos, hats, mittens, blankets, tote bags, purses, etc. The goal of this non-profit center was to work with various communities from the Cusco region to revive the authentic textile traditions of their regions and empower weavers, especially women. Afterwards, enjoy a light lunch.

We check into our hotel in Urubamba, then will have an Orientation with Halle Eavelyn and our Shaman, Jorge Luis Delgado, who is a recognized Peruvian Elder and a powerful healer. Enjoy a festive Welcome Dinner, then a fire ceremony led by Jorge. This evening, we learn about Andean Cosmovision, set our personal intentions for this pilgrimage and release everything we are ready to leave behind. This pilgrimage will bring peace and transformation to every participant, activated by the Peruvian shamanic energy and our own intentions.

Overnight in Urubamba. (Breakfast, Lunch, Welcome dinner)

DAY 3: MAR 16 – CHICHA CEREMONY AND THE SPIRITS OF THE MOUNTAINS

After breakfast, we travel to Urco in the village of Calca for a Chicha ceremony with a Q’ero master. Chicha is a sacred drink, a kind of beer made of corn, and in the ceremony, we’ll offer it to Mother Earth in gratitude for the gifts of life we receive from her. Then, Jorge will lead a Solar ceremony of the snake.
We’ll then continue our journey through the Sacred Valley along the Urubamba River to Pisac. Here, we’ll visit the temple, a place of power where Coca leaves are used to send love and thanks to the Spirit of the Mountains, Apu, and to the Pachamama (Mother Earth).

We will walk with the Apukunas (spirits of mountains) and have the opportunity to connect with these Andean Deities who are our protectors, masters, silent watchers, and healers in the native communities. We’ll visit the sacred places, the temple of the Sun and the Moon, the Rainbow and the Constellations Temple. We’ll admire the perfect stone work and the aesthetics expressed by the constructions that dance with the Cosmos.

This evening, we will have an optional San Pedro Ceremony. Experience an easy intro to Plant Medicine, using the sacred herb, San Pedro. This beautiful, healing heart medicine of the Andes goes back thousands of years. Our shaman will guide us through this moving group ceremony. Or choose to relax on your own during this time. (Additional fee for plant medicine and ceremony)

Dinner on your own this evening.

Overnight in Urubamba. (Breakfast)

DAY 4: MAR 17 – CITY OF THE UNIVERSE AND THE TEMPLE OF SHINING GOLD

This morning, we’ll visit the University of Ollantaytambo, also known as the City of the Universe. Here, we’ll experience how everything is dancing, interconnected, and interdependent. We’ll learn how to perform Solar Activation Spiritual Eye Practices.

Ollantaytambo is considered one of the most important temples of the Pre-Inca and Inca Time, and we’ll explore the temples of different elements, enjoying the presence of the monument to the Condor, Tunupa’s face, the Sun temple, and others. Later, we’ll visit Ñaupa Iglesia (Temple of Chakanas), charged with spiritual energy and tranquility, located in the middle of steep mountains. Here, people worshiped our ancestors, a place of connection, a place of astronomical events, and ceremonies for specific dates of the agricultural calendar.

Inside the Huaca is a finely carved altar facing straight to the Milky Way and a portal or dimensional gate. Some scholars say that this sanctuary should be called “Choqella” (temple of shining gold). We’ll have time to explore and appreciate the history and spiritual essence of this site.

Overnight in Urubamba. (Breakfast)

DAY 05: MAR 18: ORACLE OF THE MOON CEREMONY AND MORAY TERRACES

After breakfast, we visit the temple located in front of the Ancahuasi mountain, which is the nest place of the Eagle and the Condor. In this place which is called Quillarumiyoc (the oracle of the Moon or Temple of the Moon), we can build our own nest in our heart, putting in it our best intentions and keeping them protected, secure and ready to share with our brothers and sisters.

Then it’s on to the archaeological site of Moray, which is a system of agricultural terraces that served as an Inca laboratory for experimentation with crops. Here, we will learn about the advanced agricultural practices of the Inca and their deep understanding of the land.

We will have lunch in a local restaurant. Then, in the afternoon, we will return to our hotel in Urubamba, where we will have some free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

DAY 07: MAR 20: SUNRISE CEREMONY AT MACHU PICCHU

Early this morning, we embark on our journey back to the mystical Machu Picchu, where we will eagerly await the first radiant beam of sun to rise above the iconic mountaintop. Today marks our spiritual awakening, a day to delve into the deepest and most profound meaning of our inner light while gaining a better understanding of the mesmerizing electromagnetic energies of the sun. As the light rises, we will embark on a powerful meditation session that will truly amplify your energy levels, providing you with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you’ll cherish forever.

As we take in the surreal surroundings and bask in the energy of this enigmatic location, you’ll have ample time to explore and reflect in this powerful sacred site.

When the time is right, we’ll head back to Aguas Calientes, where the rest of your day is at leisure. Indulge in a local Peruvian lunch, take a dip in the revitalizing hot springs, believed to have volcanic origins, which may even date back to the era of the Incas. You could even pamper yourself with an excellent (and pocket-friendly) massage at one of the family-owned storefront establishments.

Perhaps you might even need a siesta before we all head out for a special dinner together this evening.

After breakfast, we will check out from our hotel and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where we will board our coach to Cusco.

Upon arrival in Cusco, we will have lunch and check in at our hotel.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of the Sun of the Inkas (Coricancha). It is one of the most important temples of the Inka empire and the most revered temple in Cusco. This was a sacred temple built by the Inkas for offering ceremonies to the Father Sun. The Father Sun was a vital part of Inkan life, considered to be responsible for the creation of all things. Some of the structures have an important astronomical significance related to solstices and equinoxes. The building techniques seem to have been made by tools beyond the capabilities of human beings.

Later on, we will be taken on a walking tour through this lovely and historically rich city; you will walk by main streets that lead to temples and other sacred places. You will be able to feel the energy on the Ley Lines that converge on this navel of the Andean world. These vibrations are comparable to the ones you can feel when you walk through the streets in Jerusalem, Assisi, and in other holy cities.

We will continue visiting Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puca Pucara, Amaru Machay. Here we can admire the magnificence of our ancestors, connect with the living elements and release our heavy energies (Hucha), reconnect with what we are and surrender to our true essence of love. By connecting to the womb of Mother Earth (Pachamama) and the Serpent (the second guide of the Incas), we are given the opportunity for a new rebirth.

Then board our private boat and visit the famous reed islands, where we will participate in a transformative Dreaming Ceremony, under the auspices of the Cosmic Mother Pachamama, to dream the new life of a new YOU.

At the Temple of Fire, we gather to connect with the Cosmic Spiral, an energy that flows through all living things. We will then explore the Chullpas, ancient burial towers that hold the secrets of rebirth. This sacred cemetery temple bears witness to the Ceremony of the Solar Disc Imposition, a ritual that invites us to embrace our true essence as Children of the Sun.

Through this ceremony, we will remember that we are meant to be clear, transparent, and radiant beings, shining our inner light for all to see. As we immerse ourselves in the energy of Sillustani, we open ourselves up to a transformative experience that will stay with us forever.

As we walk among these mysterious formations, we will tap into the energy of the land and connect with the wisdom of the ancient people who created them.

Next, we will visit the pre-Incan megalithic structures around Lake Titicaca, which are all oriented towards the sunrise. These incredible structures are carved into the Mother Rock in semi-circular and rectangular forms with stairways that lead to different altars overlooking the Sacred Lake. We will take time to soak in the energy of these sacred sites and connect with the wisdom of the ancestors.

After that, we will embark on a Ceremonial Path towards the Aramu Muru Doorway in Ajayu Marka, the House of the Sun or House of Divinity. Along the way, we will hike through the inner world symbolized by the Snake, the physical world symbolized by the Puma, and the upper world symbolized by the Condor. Here, we will send a message to the Cosmos and listen for our answer, activating our Inner Sun to experience our own Body of Light.

Finally, we will arrive at the inter-dimensional doorway of Aramu Muru, where we will experience the Light and the Doorway of Heart-centered Divinity. This powerful experience will help us connect with our deepest selves and transform our understanding of the world.
