On arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by one of our wonderful ground team, who will assist you through a VIP customs and immigration experience before transferring you to our luxury accommodations at the spectacular Four Seasons First Residence Hotel. With a view of the Nile and the Cairo Zoo, you will thoroughly enjoy being pampered at one of the top hotels in Cairo.

Begin your day with an extraordinary and exclusive sunrise experience at the Giza Plateau, created to inspire and rejuvenate your spirit. Before the first light of day graces the horizon, you will hear the mesmerizing call to prayer, resonating through the air and stirring your soul.
In the dark, you will walk to the majestic paws of the Sphinx, the timeless guardian of secrets and stories. This ancient sentinel, nestled within the necropolis of ancient Memphis, the Pharaohs’ seat of power, holds the mysteries of our past lives and, supposedly, the Akashic Hall of Records.
Usually off-limits to visitors, this sacred space will be yours to explore in a private visit, offering the rare opportunity to stand between the paws of the Sphinx as the sun’s first rays light the sky. Our journey continues with an early visit to the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, a modern sanctuary of ancient wonders and home to Tutankhamun’s treasures. Marvel at the stunning artifacts, many displayed publicly for the very first time, as you immerse yourself in the extraordinary legacy of one of the world’s oldest civilizations.
Joining us throughout our journey is our beloved Egyptologist, whose extraordinary knowledge is coupled with the way he brings ancient Egypt vividly to life through unforgettable stories. Before long, you’ll find yourself seeing every temple, carving, and artifact through entirely new eyes.
Ancient Pharaonic Perfumes
Then it’s on to visit a famous perfumery, to discover the same exquisite oils supplied to some of France’s most famous perfume houses.
Here we’ll be welcomed by the family of our dear friend, Aromatherapy Master Fouad. Though Fouad passed on in 2024 and is deeply missed, his family continues the beautiful work he devoted his life to. Learn about the Seven Sacred Chakra Oils of the Pharaohs, and all the traditional Egyptian essential oils, made the same way for over a thousand years.
Tonight, walk across the street to dine Nile side at one of the many lovely restaurants, or indulge in an evening visit to the outstanding Four Seasons spa, featuring a full Turkish Hammam along with Thai and Balinese massages.

The Sacred Mosques of Cairo
After breakfast, we begin the day with visits to two of Cairo’s most magnificent mosques: Ar-Rifa’i Mosque and Sultan Hassan Mosque.
Ar-Rifa’i is one of Egypt’s most important living mosques, renowned for its breathtaking architecture and as the resting place of members of Egypt’s royal family, including the last Shah of Iran. Across the square stands the awe-inspiring Sultan Hassan Mosque, widely considered one of the greatest achievements of Mamluk architecture. Together, they offer a remarkable glimpse into Egypt’s living spiritual traditions and sacred history.
Welcome Aboard Our Private dahabeya
Following our morning in Cairo, we’ll take a short flight to Aswan, where our elegant private dahabeya awaits.
For the next week, this beautiful vessel will become your home on the Nile. Settle into your accommodations as our gracious crew welcomes you aboard. Before long, they’ll know exactly how you take your coffee, your favorite place to sit on deck, and will make you feel completely at home.
Enjoy lunch prepared by our private chef as your pacing slows with the river’s natural rhythm.
Nubian Village
Later this afternoon, we’ll board a traditional felucca for a leisurely sail to a colorful Nubian Village. Complete the final stretch of the journey by camel (bucket list!) along the banks of the Nile before being welcomed into one of Egypt’s oldest living cultures.
Here you’ll experience Nubian hospitality firsthand as we learn about their traditions, homes, language, music, and joyful way of life. It is a beautiful reminder that while Egypt’s temples preserve her ancient wisdom, her people continue to keep her spirit alive.

The Root Chakra and the Mother Goddess Isis
This morning, we take a short coach ride to the lakeshore before boarding a private boat bound for the sacred island of Philae, where the temple is consecrated to Isis, Egypt’s Divine Mother.
As we cross the timeless Nile, the temple gradually comes into view, rising from the island just as it has welcomed seekers for thousands of years.
We will enjoy meditation over the water and a private visit to experience the healing energy of Isis within her beautiful island sanctuary. This sacred isle represents the meeting of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman civilizations, yet its heart remains devoted to the Great Cosmic Mother, the mysteries of creation, and the timeless magic of Egypt.
In a special ceremony, you will open your root chakra and receive the nurturing energy of the Goddess to support and sustain you long after you return home. For many guests, this becomes one of the most meaningful experiences of the entire journey.
High Tea at the Old Cataract
Late this afternoon, we’ll enjoy High Tea at the legendary Sofitel Old Cataract Hotel, where Agatha Christie found her inspiration while writing Death on the Nile.

Align the Sacral Chakra and Claim Your Power
This morning, after a lovely breakfast aboard our dahabeya, we set sail for Kom Ombo, where we visit the only dual temple in Egypt. This dramatic temple, poised between the edge of the river and the encroaching desert sand, was dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god of strength, fortitude, fertility, and rebirth; and Horus, the hawk-headed son of Isis and Osiris.
The duality of conscious and unconscious is palpable at this ancient site, as the Egyptians knew that without darkness, there can be no light. One of the most powerful places in Kom Ombo is the Seat of Neutrality, positioned on the exact centerline between the sections of the temple dedicated to Horus and Sobek.
It is here we transcend the lower chakras. You are invited into a unique ceremony where you can break into the upper room of what is possible for the rest of your life.
After our visit, we return to our dahabeya and continue our peaceful journey toward Edfu, watching Egyptian village life unfold along the banks of the Nile.

In the House of Horus, Awaken the Falcon Within
This morning we will take horse-drawn carriages to visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, the Falcon God, the best-preserved temple of the Ancient World and one of the most beautifully maintained in Egypt. As you approach the magnificent temple complex, you become aware of its enormous dimensions, with a vast courtyard, a forest of towering columns, and soaring ceilings.
The side chambers of the Temple of Horus reveal the complexity of ancient rites, including a healing chamber, a perfumery, and singers’ rooms. One chamber, called the House of Life, stored the sacred texts used in seasonal and daily rituals.
Horus is associated with higher vision and clarity. This temple offers a deeper exploration of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine as they relate to the story of the Eye of Horus.
The left eye of Horus represents the lunar, the moon, intuition, and feminine energy. The right eye is connected to the solar, the masculine, action, and yang energy. Both are necessary for true power to exist, yet for so many, life has become out of balance.
Our ceremony will help you integrate the two sides of Horus, bringing them back into harmony so you can move through life with greater clarity, balance, and purpose.

Sailing the Nile
Today is a gift.
There is nowhere to rush, nowhere to be except exactly where you are. As we sail the Nile, watch the farmers tending their fields, children waving from the riverbank, fishermen casting their nets, and life unfolding much as it has for thousands of years. It is no surprise that this becomes one of the favorite days of the journey for many of our guests.
As our dahabeya makes its way through Esna Lock and continues north, take time to read, journal, nap on deck, or simply watch Egypt drift by.

The Magnificent Karnak Temple and the Goddess Sekhmet
After breakfast, we arrive in Luxor and visit the extraordinary Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt and one of its most special sacred sites. Dedicated to the Gods Amun and Mut, you enter by walking between a majestic avenue of ram-headed sphinxes that, now restored, once again connects Karnak with Luxor Temple nearly two miles away.
Take time to visit the Sacred Lake of Karnak, placing your intentions into its still waters before continuing to a small chapel dedicated to Sekhmet, her consort Ptah, and their son Nefertum.
Sekhmet is the lioness Goddess of compassion and courage. Associated with both destruction and healing, she is known for burning away that which no longer serves us so something new can emerge.
In a private ceremony, we will honor the Goddess and ask her to help us release whatever we’ve been carrying that no longer belongs in our lives. For many guests, this becomes one of the most liberating experiences of the journey.
Embody the Temple of Man as You Awaken Your Own Body
This evening, as the sun slips below the horizon, we visit Luxor Temple beneath the stars. Here we discover a temple built in the image of the human body—the outer courts representing the feet, the Hall of Columns the ribs, and the Holy of Holies the head.
This is a beautiful place to focus on physical healing. As you move through the temple, notice how your own body responds. Awaken the parts of yourself that have been sleeping, activate your inner light, and remember radiant health.
Luxor Night Market
After dinner, we’ll mingle with the locals at the vibrant Luxor Night Market, one of the most authentic experiences in Egypt. Wander the colorful stalls, sample local treats, practice your bargaining skills, and soak in the lively atmosphere before returning to our dahabeya for the night.

A Visit to the Goddess Hathor’s House
After breakfast aboard our dahabeya, we journey to the exquisite Temple of Dendera, dedicated to Hathor, the Goddess of love, joy, abundance, fertility, music, dance, beauty, and the escorting of souls through the afterlife.
The temple is renowned for its magnificent zodiac ceiling, which recalls the origins of Egypt. In the temple’s crypt, intriguing hieroglyphics—often referred to as the “Dendera Light”—continue to inspire wonder and spark conversation among scholars and visitors alike.
On the rooftop, where Hathor’s priests and priestesses once gathered for sacred celebrations, we’ll reconnect with our heart centers. Together, we’ll connect with both Earth and Cosmic energies, allowing love to become the bridge between the two.
Our private ceremony in the ancient birthing room is a deeply moving experience, inviting you to embrace joy, abundance, and your own capacity to create a life you truly love.

The Sacred Temple of Abydos
After breakfast, we bid farewell to our beloved dahabeya and begin our journey to Abydos, one of the most revered temples in all of ancient Egypt.
Built by Pharaoh Seti I and dedicated to Osiris, Isis, Horus, Ptah, Amun-Re, and Re-Harakhte, Abydos was considered the spiritual heart of ancient Egypt. For thousands of years, Egyptians longed to make the journey here at least once during their lifetime, believing it to be a place of profound transformation, renewal, and remembrance.
There is something unmistakably different about Abydos, home to the ancient Flower of Life tattoos at the Osirian, a unique temple whose walls echo that of the Great Pyramid. Whether you experience it as history, mystery, or something beyond words, this extraordinary temple has a powerful way of inviting your elevation.
Following our visit, we’ll transfer to Luxor Airport for our short flight back to Cairo.
Then we check in again at the elegant Four Seasons First Residence Hotel for a relaxing evening before tomorrow’s extraordinary finale.

What happens inside the King’s Chamber cannot be fully described—only experienced. There is a profound stillness here, as though time itself pauses. You may enter with curiosity, emotion, expectation, or wonder, but few people leave unchanged.
We will return to the Four Seasons for a leisurely breakfast.
Walk An Ancient Market, In Thousand-Year-Old Footsteps
This afternoon, we’ll explore the legendary Khan el Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most celebrated markets in the Middle East. Wander its winding alleyways, browse colorful shops overflowing with handcrafted treasures, spices, textiles, and lanterns, and soak in the vibrant energy that has filled these streets for centuries.
Time permitting, we’ll also stroll along Al Muizz Street, one of Cairo’s oldest and most beautiful avenues, where stunning Islamic architecture transports us back through the centuries.
A Magnificent Farewell
This evening, we’ll gather one final time for our Farewell Dinner, celebrating the friendships we’ve formed, the memories we’ve created, and the transformation we’ve shared.
Return home with an open heart, lifelong friendships, and the quiet knowing that something within you has shifted. Long after the details of the journey begin to fade, Egypt has a way of staying with you.
