    Howard has been empowering people spiritually for the past four decades as an inspirational speaker, counselor, and teacher of universal spiritual/psychological principles. A best-selling author on the topic of Oneness, he is also a certified Life Mastery Coach and Consultant. He has traveled the world for decades, leading groups and pilgrimages that contribute to a person’s personal growth and transformation. Some of his many travels have involved meeting with world leaders and have included 3 separate week-long meetings with the Dalai Lama.


    Howard’s past pilgrimages of transformation have included India, Egypt, Bali, Peru, and most recently, Thailand.


    Howard is married, has three children, and believes all the people of the world are his family.

    The Itinerary

    October 13, 2024 – Arrival in Lisbon:

    After your landing in Lisbon, a private vehicle will be waiting to whisk you away to your exquisite accommodations at the historical The One Palácio da Anunciada. Once settled, our group will meet up to explore the city on a vintage tramcar that meanders through the narrow lanes of Alfama and Baixa neighborhoods. This ride is a perfect opportunity to familiarize yourself with key heritage landmarks like the iconic Sao Jorge Castle and the bustling Commerce Square. Up next is a trip to Cristo Rei, a statue overlooking Lisbon, offering a fantastic panoramic view which is nothing short of breathtaking. Conclude your first day in Portugal with an Orientation Session with Howard, followed by a sumptuous Welcome Dinner at your hotel, The One Palácio da Anunciada.

    October 14, 2024 – Exploring Lisbon and Sintra:

    After a delicious breakfast, today’s journey takes you to the enchanting town of Sintra. The highlight is a tour of Pena Palace, known for its colorful facades and the medieval Moorish Castle, perched high on a hill. Following the adventure, satisfy your appetite at “O Faroleiro” with a Portuguese meal. Our return journey includes a fascinating visit to Jeronimos Monastery and Belem Tower—two architectural marvels symbolizing Lisbon’s historic past.

    Enjoy the evening at your luxurious hotel, soaking in the day’s experiences.

    October 15, 2024 – Visit to the Silver Coast:

    Your morning starts with a short drive to the idyllic town of Obidos characterized by its traditional cobbled streets and whitewashed houses adorned with vibrant flowers. After a leisurely exploration, you’ll head to the fishing town of Nazare known for its wide sandy beach under the watchful eyes of the Sitio cliffs. Enjoy a seaside lunch, then head to to Montebelo Mosteiro de Alcobaca, where your stay begins with a special teaching session with Howard, and a guided tour of the imposing Alcobaca Monastery.

    This evening, choose one of the local restaurants. and perhaps dine with some of your fellow travelers.

    October 16, 2024 – Cultural immersion in Alcobaça, Batalha, and Fatima:

    Today offers a deeper dive into Portugal’s heritage which begins with a detailed exploration of the Cistercian Alcobaça Monastery. Next up is the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive gothic and Manueline architectural elements. Spend the afternoon experiencing the deep sense of tranquility and spirituality that engulfs the Fatima Shrine, one of the world’s most significant Christian pilgrimage sites.

    October 17, 2024 – Travel to Santiago de Compostela via Coimbra:

    Get ready for an enriching journey starting with a guided tour of the University of Coimbra – one of the world’s oldest universities, home to the spectacular Joanina Library. Your afternoon features a gourmet lunch including traditional Portuguese cuisine complemented by wine tasting at the renowned “Caves de Coimbra”. A scenic drive leads you to Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain for an overnight stay at the elegant A Quinta da Auga.

    After check in and a rest, we will gather for Howard’s third teaching session, then your evening is free.

    October 18, 2024 – Exploring Santiago de Compostela:

    Experience Santiago de Compostela’s rich history highlighted by a tour of the illustrious Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, revered by pilgrims worldwide, and the bustling Plaza del Obradoiro. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic district, home to the notable Monastery of San Martín Pinario.

    As dusk falls, retreat to the tranquility of A Quinta da Auga to unwind and reflect upon the day. Dinner on your own.

    October 19, 2024 – En route to Porto via Braga:

    Early today, we journey towards the vibrant city of Porto, pausing to marvel at Braga’s spiritual structures – the Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary and Braga Cathedral. Then we continue into the spectacular visual feast that is the Duoro Valley, traveling along a road considered the most beautiful in the world. We will arrive for a late lunch at Quinta do Castro, where we will have a delicious private and local meal, a wine tasting and tour of the vineyard. Afterwards, relax and siesta as we wind back through the valley.  Arrive in Porto by early evening and check-in at the stylish The Lodge Porto Hotel, your home for the next few days.

    October 20, 2024 – Discovering Porto:

    Begin with a walking tour of Porto’s historic heart – the Ribeira district laden with medieval alleys and quirky houses. Stop by the literary landmark, the bookstore Livraria Lello – said to have inspired J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Enjoy a riverside lunch at “UVA”. The afternoon offers a memorable cruise on the Douro River, passing under the arches of the Dom Luis I Bridge.

    This evening, enjoy traditional Portuguese music at your Farewell Dinner at Taberna Real do Fado—a fitting farewell to Portugal.

    October 21, 2024 – Departure from Porto:
