The Itinerary

𓆸 Day 1 DEPART FOR MASAI MARA

Early this morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be met by your driver guide and escorted to your lodge/camp with a game drive en route, arriving in time for lunch. After a short rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The reserve is home to great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, zebras, and thousands of antelopes, impalas, and gazelles. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Mara River, while prides of lions and cheetahs prowl the savannah plains and over 450 bird species.

Overnight at Mara Engai Lodge (or similar) a “glamping” style resort.

(Lunch and Dinner)

𓆸 Day 2 FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, take a full-day game drive, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. This is Kenya’s number one park and is always on every tourist’s “Must See List.” Full of life with various types of animals and birds, Maasai Mara is the crown of every safari in Kenya. Its rolling grasslands and Acacia savannah have time and again been captured on film (including the famed movie “Out of Africa”). The climate is gentle, rarely too hot, and well spread rainfall year-round. Apart from the big five, the Maasai Mara is most famous for the annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc. from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July to September. Though you won’t be there at that time, there will still be plenty for you to see.

Overnight at Mara Engai Lodge (or similar).

(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

𓆸 Day 3 FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

Another amazing full day game drive in Maasai Mara. This land is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest, breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains, and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.

Overnight at Mara Engai Lodge (or similar)

(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
