TRANSFORMATIONAL TOURS’ BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS


LOVE YOUR WILDLIFE TOUR TO COSTA RICA

Please note: Each guest on this tour must SIGN this contract. Once signed, you will receive a copy of the contract by email.

 

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES

  • Hotel Accommodation – 5 nights’ room accommodations are provided at the hotels indicated on this itinerary.  Accommodations are per person, based on two persons sharing a standard twin-bedded room or king room with private bath.
  • Greeting and assistance at airports
  • Licensed Private Guide and driver throughout your stay
  • All touring and transfers in air-conditioned motor coach.
  • Transfers from and to the airport / hotels in all cities
  • Entrance fees to all visits mentioned in the above itinerary
  • Daily breakfast at hotel (5 Breakfasts)
  • Daily dinner or lunch where noted, including Welcome & Farewell Dinners
 (3Lunches & 3Dinners)
  • Transformational Tours guide throughout the trip
  • All hotels taxes, service charges and government sales tax
  • Luggage handling at airports

TOUR PRICE EXCLUDES

  • International Air tickets
  • Meals and drinks, laundry, telephone calls, etc, not specified in the proposal
  • Tips of $90 for guides/drivers
  • Travel & health Insurance and other items of a personal nature
  • Any optional tour or tour not mentioned in the itinerary
  • Any increase in entrance fees, tickets and/or domestic airline charges will be passed on as trip price increases, as they are controlled by the governmental and out of our own control.

We can help you book your flights – just give us a call at our toll-free number (888) 600-7541. Or make your own arrangements – it’s up to you! Please note that this is a courtesy only and you are responsible for your flight management, seat assignments, check-in, transit (including hotels if applicable) and documentation for your flight. Transformational Tours & Retreats takes no responsibility beyond booking your air travel.

PAYMENTS

$3355 per person covers the complete land package as indicated in the itinerary. Main tour is based on a minimum of 20 guests. 

A non-refundable deposit of $750 holds your space.  Final payment of $2605 is due no later than Nov. 15, 2017.  If you sign up after that day, (space permitting) payment is due in full at time of booking.

Departure taxes, security and fuel surcharges are subject to change without notice.

DEPOSITS

A $750 non-refundable deposit is due upon sign-up and holds your space. Please either pay by credit card through our secure online system or, if you are planning on paying by check or wire transfer, call (888) 600-7541 to make arrangements.

All payments are due by November 15, 2017. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are gladly accepted. Personal and cashier’s checks are also accepted.

CANCELLATION

DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE IN THE CASE OF CANCELLATION, EXCEPT AS NOTED.  GUESTS CANCELING PRIOR TO OCTOBER 15, 2017 RECEIVE A FULL REFUND LESS THE INITIAL $750 DEPOSIT; PRIOR TO NOVEMBER 15, 2017 RECEIVE A 50% REFUND OF ALL MONIES ABOVE THE INITIAL DEPOSIT, ON OR AFTER NOVEMBER 15, 2017, NO REFUND – WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL TRAVELERS TO BUY TRIP INSURANCE IN CASE OF CANCELLATION and are happy to assist with this process.

ROOMMATES/SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS

Single rooms are available upon payment of a single room supplement of $861 per person. Transformational Tours & Retreats will provide roommates wherever possible, upon request. If no roommate is available when tour closes, guest will be required to pay a single supplement, so guests are strongly encouraged to sign up with their own roommates.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

All travelers need a passport valid for at least six months AFTER the date of entering the country (your passport MUST be valid through at least July 5, 2018 or you must renew before travel). No visa is needed for your stay.

BAGGAGE

Between North America and Central American destinations, each passenger is allowed one or two pieces of checked baggage. Please check with your airline for specifics on the size and weight of your allowed baggage.

AFFILIATION

Transformational Tours & Retreats is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel, Registration No. TI64162, is a dba of Halle Eavelyn Enterprises, LLC, and a member of the Gifted Travel Network. Gifted Travel Network, Inc. is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel, Registration No. ST39093, and with the California Seller of Travel Program, Registration No. 2113317-40.

RESPONSIBILITY

Transformational Tours & Retreats has made arrangements for the tour services described in your itinerary and final invoice.  Hotels, airlines, and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors and are not the agents, employees or servants of, or joint venturers with Transformational Tours & Retreats.  All certificates and other travel documents for tour services issued by us or our booking agent, Way To Go Tours, or by Gifted Travel Network, are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and the laws of the countries is which the services are supplied.

By agreeing to utilize the services of Transformational Tours & Retreats, the tour participant agrees that Transformational Tours & Retreats, Gifted Travel Network, Way To Go Tours, Rachel Rienstra,, and any of their affiliates, employees or agents, shall not be liable for any delay, inconvenience, loss of employment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental, resulting from the act or omission of Transformational Tours & Retreats,  Gifted Travel Network, Way To Go Tours, Rachel Rienstra,, and any of their affiliates, employees or agents, or shall be liable for any damage, loss, claim, cost or expense arising out  of personal injury, accident, or death, loss, damage or delay of baggage or other property, resulting from:

  1. the act or omission on the part of any person including but not limited to Transformational Tours & Retreats, Gifted Travel Network, Way To Go Tours, Rachel Rienstra,, or their employees;
  2. acts of God, sickness, theft, labor disputes, mechanical break-down, government actions, weather, or any cause beyond Transformational Tours & Retreats’ direct control. No person, other than a representative of Transformational Tours & Retreats or Way To Go Tours or Rachel Rienstra, authorized by a document in writing, may vary, add or waive any term or condition in this brochure, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.

Written notice of any claim against Transformational Tours & Retreats or Rachel Rienstra, must be received no later than fourteen (14) days after the date that services were provided to a tour participant.

Although every effort will be made to deliver the trip exactly as in the itinerary, all terms and conditions, including fares, schedules, locations and rates are subject to change without notice. Quality and class will remain the same.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Transformational Tours & Retreats offers travel insurance which gives you unparalleled access to Allianz’ travel insurance options. If you need help purchasing insurance, please call us at (888) 600-7541. If you do NOT want travel insurance, you will also need to sign a waiver indicating this. Please note: If you want “cancel for any reason” insurance, you MUST purchase it within 30 days of your initial deposit.

CONTRACT ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT

By signing this Agreement, I agree to accept and abide by all the terms and conditions outlined above. I acknowledge being fully informed about the details of this trip and of the cancellation policy.
